At this time of the year dairy cows have been housed several months and there is a build-up of manure in most houses and on cows feet. Additionally many farms are at beginning peak production and have a higher cow to cubicle ratio. These all increase the lameness risk factors. Therefore cows feet should be washed in parlour at least once a week and spot sprayed. Combat or a mix of 25% Hoofsure Endurance can be used to spot spray their feet. Additionally Hoofsure Endurance should be used at 2%, e.g. 4 litres in a 200 ltr footbath to counteract this higher risk level. Finally Konquest can be used for wrapping or is available in smaller tubes or a tub for use in parlour.
