Provita at Clogher Show

Provita will be at next week’s Clogher Show, taking place on Wednesday July 31st. “We will be located adjacent to the sheep rings,” confirmed Provita’s Tommy Armstrong. “And we look forward to making contact with farmers throughout the day.”

Provita will be profiling two key sheep products at Clogher Show. ProVitaMin is a new range of chelated minerals, vitamins and trace elements in an ultra-concentrated liquid drench form. It contains all the essential chelated minerals, vitamins and trace elements providing breeding ewes with that all important nutritional boost pre tupping. In addition, ProVitaMin has been formulated to be extremely free flowing, thereby facilitating its use with a standard drenching gun. “It can also be used to boost lamb growth rates post weaning,” Tommy Armstrong further explained. ProVitaMin contains 25 different trace elements at an optimal level, in order to help correct deficiencies, improve fertility and aid growth rates. The high level of B vitamins helps stimulate appetite and the chelated metals allow for a slow release benefit.

A special show offer of 1+1 free is available for orders placed on the day that will then be supplied via farmer’s local merchants or vets.

The Hoofsure range, Endurance footbath, Combat foot spray and Konquest gel, will also be profiled prominently at Clogher Show. It is fast gaining favour with leading sheep producers throughout Northern Ireland. Tommy Armstrong again:

“Hoofsure Endurance can be used at the normal concentration rate of 1%, that’s 1 litre to 100 litres of water. “However, a respected research organisation commissioned and undertook an independent study on the effectiveness of footbath solutions in sheep.  65% of sheep with feet problems showed improvement after one pass through a footbath containing Hoofsure Endurance at 2%, that’s 2 litres to 100 litres of water.” “Hoofsure Combat is a film forming spray with longer lasting activity.  It can act on the hoof for 24 hours.” “We also have new convenient 15g and 30g tubes of Konquest gel now available which can produce a rapid reduction in lameness and are ideal for applying to individual sheep.” “More information will be available at Clogher Show.”
